Fifteen years as a productive, thriving organization that makes our county better one parcel at a time is a huge milestone, and we are celebrating as much as we can! This year also marks the first time our organization will refresh our brand, improve our user website experience, and level up our media outreach and partnerships.

Celebration of Community
We couldn’t have had the positive impact on Cuyahoga County without the support of our local, regional and state governments, partner organizations, faith-based institutions and you! The work, impact and our friendships with each of you is reason to celebrate, and we want you to join us.

Symposium
In 2019, we partnered with Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman School of Urban Affairs to showcase our 10-Year Analysis Report’s findings and talk with panelists who have been part of Land Bank work in its first decade as an organization.
Findings then included:
INCREASED PROPERTY VALUES AND BLIGHT REDUCTION
- $415.3 million in increased home value from nearly 7,000 residential demolitions
- $320.6 million in increased home value from more than 2,100 programmatic residential rehabilitations
DISTRESSED PROPERTIES BACK ON THE TAX ROLLS
- $13 million from direct property sales
- $18.5 million in property tax revenue collected from CCLRC influenced properties
- $302.8 million in direct private investment induced by catalytic CCLRC activity
SUPPORTING THE LOCAL ECONOMY
- $305.5 million in local economic impact and 2,114 jobs created from CCLRC budget expenditures between 2009–2019
- $57.3 million in local economic impact and 355 jobs created from programmatically incentivized private sector residential rehabilitation activity
CCLRC’S 10-YEAR EXPENDITURES OF $178 MILLION5 HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESTIMATED BENEFIT-COST RATIOS
- $8 in economic impact for every $1 of CCLRC expenditure
- 1 job created for every $72,152 of CCLRC expenditure
15-Year Documentary Premiere
Lights. Camera. Action! For the past month, we’ve been riding around the county to capture b-roll and interviewing county leaders, Land Bank team members, Land Bank Charities partner organizations and old friends who have stood behind the Land Bank since Day One.
